Make-A-Wish Foundation, Arizona

Make-A-Wish Foundation, Arizona

Mick Levin, PLC is honored to support Make-A-Wish Foundation┬«, which grants wishes to children who have life-threatening medical conditions. By using the magic of granting wishes, we are able to foster children's imaginations and encourage them to believe that anything is possible. A magical Make-A Wish experience starts with a simple referral. Children may be referred to the Make-A-Wish organization by a parent, guardian or medical professional who is associated with the child's care. For children who may only have so much time left to dream, Make-A-Wish plays a vital role. In such circumstances, Make-A-Wish Foundation┬«—through its many kind and compassionate employees, volunteers and donors—brings joy and meaning to children and families who have limited time to be together.

Mick Levin, PLC is honored to lend support to the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest (ACLPI), an organization that is so obviously committed to the future of Arizona. Understanding the widespread impact and lasting social change generated by ACLPI, we believe in their mission and admire their passion for doing what's right, no matter how long it takes. We hope additional awareness will bring more support and funding so they can continue to fulfill their mission long into the future.

The Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest (ACLPI) is a private, non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to ensuring government accountability and protecting the legal rights of Arizonans, including clean air and water, access to education and school finance reform, open government, healthcare, consumer rights, campaign finance reform, and the protection of our public lands and natural resources. In fact, ACLPI is behind some of the state's most important landmark cases that:

  • Resulted in crucial funding for schools statewide
  • Increased access to mental health care
  • Protected public health by advocating for clean air and water standards
  • Improved conditions for foster children and other vulnerable populations

Arizona Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

Arizona Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.

At Mick Levin, PLC, we've seen the devastation caused by drunk driving, which is the #1 cause of death on our highways. Nearly half of all road fatalities are caused by drunk driving. Tragically, every alcohol-related crash is 100% preventable. Mick Levin wants to be part of the solution. He takes on insurance companies and sues drunk drivers to help accident victims receive compensation for their injuries. And that's why he devotes his time and energy to groups like Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

WISE Zambia

WISE Zambia

The people of Western Zambia are warm and welcoming. The goal of WISE is helping those men, women and children become self-supporting and self-confident. With their lives set against a backdrop of abuse, abandonment, poverty and a crushing lack of opportunity, the people of Zambia are one of the poorest regions of sub-Saharan Africa, with one of the highest rates of female child marriage, and little else but subsistence farming to live on. Despite these insurmountable odds, the people of Zambia show infectious optimism and perseverance that inspire us at Mick Levin, PLC to support the creation of economic opportunities through WISE education, agriculture and vocational training.
